So, the long hours are over, the show went up, and now I'm in what they call...the "real world". I had mildly hoped the "real world" included freelance contacts and lots of publicity, but I have a sneaking suspicion that's not what all my teachers were alluding to when they patted all the art students on the shoulders in an overly kind way and maybe wished us good luck a bit too forcefully. Naaahh....we'll all be fine, right? I suppose it's not as bad as that, I have a job that pays, and I'm going to be making the rounds to galleries, seeing if anyone else is interested. Seems most galleries like paintings more than sacred metal books an
